Lake Kawana, Sunshine Coast The Queensland Aquathlon joins the All Schools Triathlon to Lake Kawana in October as the Queensland State Aquathlon Championships for 2023. This swim/run event is open to all ages and also offers a racing opportunity for participants who are not competing for school selection. The Queensland Aquathlon not only serves as a State Championship event, where we will crown the Queensland Aquathlon State Champions, but also a key event in the Triathlon Queensland State Series calendar. Our event is run on a safe course with water safety, closed roads and smooth paths. The Lake Kawana location showcases some of the best sporting facilities in the area. This event also has an established COVID-safe plan to ensure safety of all persons attending.
