An accomplished keynote and motivational speaker, Michelle takes her professional background in behavioural change and delivers powerful personal examples of successfully navigating change, for individuals and organisations. Michelle is a professional coach and mentor and has a passion for connection at all levels of an organisation. Recently Michelle’s professional focus has been on the national merger integration of a professional membership association where she was driven by a strong desire to ensure value for all. 

Michelle has previously held the position of Independent Director on the Triathlon Queensland board. Michelle is an age-group athlete, club owner and coach and whilst having conquered the full gamut of triathlon distances many times over including Ironman, she is yet to tackle an enticer!  

David Tucker

David Tucker has worked in the Sports Industry for over 20 years.  Having held senior sports marketing and commercial roles with NIKE in Australia and the UK, David moved to NIKE Inc as Managing Director of Manchester United Merchandising and Director of NIKE's Football Business Units.  After 15 years with NIKE, David left to lead Football Federation Australia's (FFA) commercial efforts as Head of Commercial.

Overseeing the delivery and execution of all of FFA's Broadcasting, Sponsorship, Licensing, Digital and Events related revenue, David successfully secured and renewed key partners and created all commecial, broadcasting and event elements of Manchester United's record breaking Australian Tour in 2013.

David subsequently became CEO of Infinite Retail, Australia's largest sports merchandising business before managing the sale of Infinite Retail to rebel sport and forming the sports consultancy business, TCA.  Through TCA, David works with a variety of international sporting companies and rights holders across sponsorship, events, digital, future technology and merchandising.

He has been an avid “surburban” triathlete for the past 30 years, although he is now more focused on ocean swimming and coaching. He is heavily involved in the administration of the sport, including three years as Chair of Triathlon ACT and the TA Future Model of Operations committee

Alex also umpires Aussie Rules, and is active in a range of not-for-profits and charity organisations in the ACT.

Brian McGovern is a Non-Executive Advisory Board Member of the Property Industry Foundation. He is also a Committee Member of the Property Council of Australia’s, Capital Markets, Corporate Governance and Regulation Committee.
Brian is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of FINSIA – the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) – and holds academic qualifications of;
• Masters in Commercial Law, Melbourne University Law School
• Master of Business Administration, Graduate School of Business, Curtin University (WA), and
• Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance, Graduate School of Business, Curtin University

Brian recently retired from his corporate career in banking, finance and investment (superannuation). He is a passionate triathlete who has competed at all distances including 70.3 and Ironman including three times age group competitor in the Hawaiian Ironman World Championships (2009, 2014, and 2018). He now looks forward to giving back to the sport of triathlon which has given him so much.

For six consecutive years, Nickie featured on the 'Top 30 Women in Media Power List Australia’, and in 2021, was recognised with the ‘Asia Pacific Women to Watch Award'. She has a Master of Marketing and specialist training in leadership and negotiations at The Living Leader Australia, Scotwork and Publicis Groupe. 

As a senior executive leader at Zenith Australia Nickie has catapulted the company to success, delivering double-digit revenue growth year on year for four consecutive years. Nickie is a zealous leader who inspires action and motivates teams around a growth-focused goal. Nickie is a fierce creative, thought-provoking strategist and marketing expert – reshaping how companies do business globally.

A long time sports participant and enthusiast, Nickie has been competing in triathlons for 27 years and has served as a committee member of her local Triathlon Club.

Stuart Corbishley

Stuart is an experienced sports lawyer and administrator who advises state, national and international governing bodies on a range of legal, commercial, governance and integrity matters. Stuart headed up the legal teams at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and at AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015, and was involved in establishing Cricket Australia’s men’s and women’s Big Bash Leagues, Netball Australia’s Suncorp Super Netball competition and Athletics Australia’s Nitro Athletics.

Stuart is currently General Counsel & Company Secretary of Invictus Games Sydney 2018 and General Counsel of Football Federation Australia’s FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Bid. Stuart is also a member of Athletics Australia’s Ethics & Integrity Committee.  Previously, Stuart was a Director & the Secretary of the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association.

Having completed his first triathlon in 2018, Stuart remains in awe of the dedication, determination and achievement of participants at every level of our sport.
