The 2015 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship held in Austria will take place on Sunday 30th August. There is a strong contingent of Triathlon WA members making the journey across to what looks like a stunning race location.
Katy Duffield (Duffield Ironman Twins) from Exceed Triathlon Club is heading across to race in her first IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships as a professional athlete. After a stella first year on the pro circuit her determination and consistency is paying off and it's now her time to race on the world stage.
Amongst the strong contingent of Age Group athletes from WA is Caroline Anderson from Stadium Tri-Club. Carrie is looking to defend her IRONMAN 70.3 title in the 50-54 age group that she won in Canada last year.
Good luck to all the WA members who have qualified for Sunday's race. We look forward to hearing about your achievements from race day.
