Triathlon WA (TWA) is excited to announce that Aqualyte has extended its partnership with TWA for the 2016/17 season. The partnership will continue to see Aqualyte support the Triathlon Excellence Program in addition to new initiatives aimed at providing benefits to Triathlon WA Clubs.
Announcing the partnership renewal, Triathlon WA Executive Director Peter Minchin was delighted that Aqualyte and Triathlon WA were continuing the partnership and able to build on the success of the agreement from the previous season.
‘Aqualyte is a local, Western Australian owned and made, fluid and electrolyte supplement that is designed to be rapidly absorbed and is low in sugar making it a healthier alternative to many other sports drinks. This makes it particularly suitable for Triathletes’.
‘Aqualyte will be continuing to provide support to our junior athletes in the Triathlon Excellence Program (TEP) and TEP squad as the preferred hydration product during daily training and competition’ commented Peter. ‘Aqualyte will also be the hydration partner for the City of Armadale Way Out West Triathlon in March which will host the Australian Junior and Youth National Triathlon Championships’
Aqualyte General Manager, Ben Tarbox said,
‘As a locally owned and made product, we are delighted to continue this partnership with TWA and be able to again support emerging athletes in the Triathlon Excellence Program. We are also happy to be able to extend our support to triathlon clubs in WA through what we are calling our ‘Club Sport Program’. This program is designed to give back to the clubs who are providing ‘grass roots sport‘ in the community which we hope to support in a meaningful way.
The new agreement sees the inclusion of benefits for clubs, with Aqualyte providing hydration product for clubs that wish to use it at events as part of the Club Event Series. Further to this, all clubs will be offered the opportunity to establish a promotional code for their members, which ensures a commission on any online sales, will be returned to the club directly.
‘We are excited by these new initiatives and look forward to working with clubs in their events and the benefits that they can offer their members’ commented Ben.
Further information will be available shortly for clubs who wish to be involved in these new initiatives.
