Mandurah Triathlon Club hosted the 25th Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers State Interclubs on Sunday with close to 300 athletes from 13 clubs racing for points with plenty of passion and energy.
Congratulations to Exceed Triathlon Club on retaining the Rob Pickard trophy for the club with the most points and to Break Your Limits for retaining the Presidents’ Cup for the highest average score. The Clive Choate regional shield was taken home by Bunbury Triathlon Club.
The Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers State Interclubs was also Race Two of our Club Event Series for 2017/18. Exceed capitalised on their big Interclubs numbers to move to the top of the leader board. UWA, Perth Hills, Break Your Limits and Fremantle round out our top five currently. Race Three of the Series will be North Coast’s Aquathlon on the 2nd February.
Every member who participates in a Club Event Series race earns points for their club and points accrued are weighted against the total club membership. The Club with the most points at the end of the Series will receive a $1000 development grant.
