After a successful 2016 World Championships campaign, Cozumel has handed over the Grand Final baton to Rotterdam, Netherlands. From 14 - 17 September 2017 the final event of the World Triathlon Series will be held in the heart of Rotterdam and will welcome thousands of age group athletes to the 2017 ITU Age Group Standard and Sprint Triathlon World Championships.

Famous for its ocean swim, earn double selection points at the 25th anniversary of the Mooloolaba Triathlon. Automatic qualification is also awarded to the Australian Standard Triathlon Champions (first place).
Catch all the action from the 2017 Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup over the weekend, where some of the biggest names in triathlon will be swimming the same waters, cycling the same roads, and pounding the same pavement as the age group course.
RACE AT KINGSCLIFF TRIATHLON | 26 March 2017
This is your final chance to qualify for Team Aus headed to Rotterdam in 2017.
Course boasts a protected, tide assisted swim in Cudgen Creek, a picturesque ride along Kingscliff’s Marine Parade, and run to the finish alongside the creek back to the beach.
Kingscliff Triathlon is also the Queensland Championship – Standard Triathlon.
About selection
Earn selection points over the season by racing in qualifying races included in Triathlon Australia’s National Calendar. Your finishing position in the races will determine the number of selection points that you receive, and points are accumulated over the 2016/2017 season.
To be selected on the Australian Age Group World Team you must be a member of Triathlon Australia and apply for the team in the distance you would like to race before March 2017. For your selection points to count, make sure your Triathlon Australia membership is active as of midnight on the Thursday preceding the date of your selection race.
