Nominate a community champion to be involved in the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay.
Delivering the Queen's message to the Commonwealth Games, the Baton will travel through all Commonwealth nations and territories, leaving Buckingham palace on March 13th 2017.
Arriving in Canberra, Australia on Christmas Day 2017, the Baton will then travel through each state on its way to the opening ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
2018 Games organisers are looking for the public across Australia to nominate their community champions to be Baton Bearers for the relay.
Criteria for nominees include:
• Has achieved something extraordinary or inspired others to achieve something extraordinary.
• Has made a significant contribution to either sport, education, the arts, culture, charity or within their community.
• Has excelled, or aspires to excel athletically or personally.
• Who contributes to a fun, friendly, vibrant and inclusive community.
• Has achieved something extraordinary or inspired others to achieve something extraordinary.
