Thoughts on the Mooloolaba course: It's a very honest course. Power to weight will come into play on the bike. There will be some sore and sorry legs on the run.
Pros of this course for you: I'm a bike / runner so it suits me.

Previous event before Worlds: Ironman 70.3 Chungju Champion

What will you take from that event into Worlds: I am running pretty quick at the moment and am fitter than I have been for a number of years

How do you prepare mentally for a big race like this: I focus on my preparation and my process for the week. I try not to worry about what anyone else is doing. I don't look at social media as much.  I do get a little selfish to make sure I get rest and am sharp for race day.

Tips for Age Groupers on the World Champs course: Practice the hilly section at least once.

Goals for this race: To put into practice what we have been doing in training.

Post-race meal: Steak and veggies.
