Following a 12-race series the 2022/23 State Series has been decided and the winners announced. It was great to see athletes targeting State Series glory, accumulating points throughout the season over a diverse range of events including Long Distance, Standard Distance, Sprint Distance, Aquathlon, Duathlon and Cross Triathlon.
This year’s State Series was true challenge for the multisport athlete and a testament of all round performance, versatility and endurance across the season. With just a few points separating many of the top spots on the State Series leader board.
Taking out the overall State Series Champion this year was Kim Bowling with 120 points with the Age Group Male and Female Champions Greg Lebeter and Kim Bowling. The U16 Female Champion was Sarah Taylor with Daniel Taylor taking home the U16 Male State Series Champion title.
