The 2023 Club Championships – North Queensland has been announced to take place at the Townsville Triathlon and Multisport Festival on Friday the 18th to Sunday the 20th of August 2023.
For triathlon clubs in North Queensland, there is no bigger stage than the Club Championships – North Queensland. With $3,000 in cash and prizes up for the taking for the top-3 North Queensland triathlon clubs, every single club member will be out in force to secure their club as many points as possible.
Last year’s top-3 North Queensland Club Championship clubs are all expected to return. At the 2022 championships, it was Townsville Triathlon Club who reclaimed their place on top of the podium after coming 2nd in 2021, home course advantaged pulled through.

This is the perfect venue to host our North Queensland clubs as the Townsville region continues to build towards the 2024 Multisport World Championships'.
'The friendly club competition between our North Queensland club members is sure to see some great battles unfold. If the past history of the Club Championships – North Queensland is anything to go by, there are often only a handful of points separating many of the clubs so each and every club member will count’.
The Townsville Triathlon & Multisport Festival will also host the Australian Championship for Cross Triathlon, Cross Duathlon, Aquathlon and Sprint Duathlon.
The City of Townsville continues to prepare for the 2024 World Triathlon Multisport World Championships where those competing will get a first-hand sneak peek at the course before these World Championships in 2024.
