On Sunday, 2 October 2016 over 700 competitors took part in the City of Armadale Duathlon, in their bid for Australian Champion Status and selection into the 2017 Australian World Duathlon Team.

Standard Distance results

Queenslander Todd Martin, from Team T-Rex, came away with the win in the 45-49 Men with a time of 01:03:29.

Terry Greenslade, from Wilston Grange Triathlon Club, finished second in the 60-64 Men with a time of 01:24:01.

Noosa’s Phillip Loader brought home a Bronze after finishing third in the 50-54 Men, coming across the line in 01:06:37.
