The 2023 edition of the Townsville Triathlon and Multisport Festival took centre stage as it hosted the 2023 Club Championships - North Queensland. A dynamic weekend of racing unfolded, offering ample opportunities for clubs to amass points across a range of multisport events.

With warmer weather across the weekend, demanding competitors to summon their inner strength and battle the elements.

Saturday afternoon featured the youthful exuberance of the kids' triathlon, alongside the sprint duathlon.

Sunday heralded a momentous morning for multisport in Townsville. Commencing the day was the sprint, enticer, and standard distance triathlon events.

The North Queensland club members were united in their ambition to position their clubs favorably for a slice of the prize pool. A bounty of $3,000 in cash and prizes, inspired North Queensland clubs and their members to make a resounding presence. They were determined not to let slip the opportunity to vie for this year's coveted prize purse.

The Club Championships – North Queensland stood as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of the North Queensland Triathlon Clubs. The spectacle of numerous clubs uniting, supporting one another, and donning their club race suits while racing was truly remarkable.

In this edition, the hometown heroes, Townsville Triathlon Club, clinched the prestigious top prize backing up there first place performance in 2022. Following closely in second place were the Cairns Crocs, while the NQ Triathlon Academy secured a commendable third place.
