RIDE2WORK DAY

WEDNESDAY 17 OCTOBER 2018

Triathlon Queensland and our major partner and safe cycling advocates, Maurice Blackburn, are proud to support the national cycle safety and health initiative, Ride2Work Day.

Ride2Work Day is delivered by Bicycle Network and associated bicycle advocacy organisations throughout Australia to encourage everyday Australians to jump on the bike and get active on their way to work.

Currently two thirds of Australians are unable to maintain their health due to lack of exercise. Combining that with traffic congestion and environmental concerns, riding to work is a perfect solution to combat these issues. By swapping your daily commute in the car to a ride, you are achieving your daily exercise goals without having to spend extra money at the gym.

To improve the experience of our members in their daily cycle commute, Maurice Blackburn has developed a complete Cyclists' Guide to Queensland Road Rules

Principal Partner at Maurice Blackburn, Andrew McKenzie said, "Maurice Blackburn continues to strive to keep cyclists safe through education and advocacy and we hope that the triathlon community finds this resource helpful."
