Triathlon Queensland is happy to release the Grant Writing Assistance Program for Triathlon Queensland Incorporated Clubs for the 2016/17 season. Triathlon Queensland with the assistance of Red Tape Busters will be offering this program for the first time this season, with plans to make it an ongoing arrangement for seasons to come, pending the success.
How it works
Clubs will complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) Form and then submit their project proposal to Triathlon Queensland (TQ). This could be for anything from equipment, to beginner programs to facilities etc. TQ will then work with Red Tape Busters in identifying relevant grants and will determine which proposals will receive the assistance from Red Tape Busters.
A limited amount of proposals will be written by Red Tape Busters so only the proposals with the best chance of being accepted and funded will go through to receive assistance from Red Tape Busters.
There will be three application rounds available and clubs will need to submit a project proposal to Triathlon Queensland before the closing dates as follows; Round 1 close – Monday, 1 August 2016, Round 2 close – Tuesday, 1 November 2016 and Round 3 close – Wednesday, 1 February 2017.
Clubs with proposals who are successful in receiving the Grant Writing Assistance from Red Tape Busters will be notified within a couple of days of the submission date.
