ITU Cozumel Age Group Standard World Championships

In just under one hour, 31 Queensland athletes will make up part of the 122 strong Australian Team competing in the Age Group Standard World Championships, the last of three races hosted in Cozumel over the week.

Clive Tucker, Barry Meek, Maddie Morton, Anika Frossling and Penny Hearn will all be finishing their World Champs journey in the Standard after already competing in both the Aquathlon and Sprint World Championships during the week.

Barry meek just missed the podium 4th in the Aquathlon, while Damien Bulters and Ana Oertel both finished top 10 in their Age Group with 7th and 9th place respectively.

Penny Hearn, current Australian Standard Champion already has a 6th place from the World Champs in the Sprint and is the proud owner of a Bronze medal from her Aquathlon World Championships performance earlier in the week.
