Coming to the Sunshine Coast for the second year, the Kawana Aquathlon is quickly becoming a must do on the Triathlon Queensland Calendar and will host the 2016 Queensland Championships for Aquathlon. Leave the bike at home and get ready to show off your speedos. This run, swim, run event is a great way to test your running and swimming speed against the best in Queensland.
The fast flat run course and the protected swim area offer one of the best vantage points for spectators anywhere and makes this location a hugely popular event. With an open water swim also on Saturday and the Gatorade Qld Tri Series Round 3 on the Sunday, why not make a weekend of it!
Plus, if you're serious about locking in Nissan State Series points you can enter all 3 QTS races in the series (Round 2, Round 7 and Kawana Aquathlon) and save 7.5% on your entries!
There's a race and distance for all ages to earn Nissan State Series points; from the Mini Aquathlon (7-9yrs), Junior Aquathlon (10-11yrs), Try-it-out (12-13yrs) and the Full Distance (14+yrs).
