Kingscliff Triathlon event organiser - NX Sports in partnership with Triathlon Australia is proud to welcome the addition of a draft legal format triathlon to be held at the upcoming Kingscliff Triathlon on November 20th, 2022.

The Kingscliff Triathlon, held twice annually, already includes a large array of triathlon distances for all ages and abilities to enjoy including the standard, sprint, tempta, aqua bike and kids events. NX Sports have been a key driver in their delivery of creative and exciting events which have supported the growth of multisport events in Queensland and New South Wales all the way from their NXGen Discover Tri Kids Triathlons all the way through to long course events such as the Tweed Enduro.

Thanks to NX Sports commitment and passion, Kingscliff will welcome a draft legal triathlon to allow development athletes to have yet another great opportunity to compete in this exciting draft legal race format. The draft legal event will be held over the tempta distance 300M/10KM/2.5KM on November 20th and see some of the nation’s top male and female draft legal endorsed athletes (D.O.B 2009+) competing to take line honours.

It’s expected that many of the junior and youth triathletes competing will come into the event with great form and use this event as a great opportunity to gain additional racing experience of the draft legal race format. Following the draft legal Kingscliff event, many of these same athletes will be eyeing off the Super Sprint Race Weekend in December.
