Queenslanders flock to Oceania Sprint Distance Championships

While the ITU World Cup series kicks off in South Africa this weekend, New Zealand hosts the first Oceania Triathlon Union race: the OTU Sprint Distance Championships in Kinloch, just north of Taupo on New Zealand's North Island.  Emma Jackson (pictured), leads the charge of Queensland athletes.

 

15 Australian athletes, 7 of them Queenslanders, will start in the Elite and Under 23 draft legal event.

 

Racing begins 12.55pm New Zealand time, Sunday February 12th 2017.
