This event organiser seminar is a Triathlon Victoria initiative. Bringing the experts together the seminar will assist you in the delivery of great events. Primarily aimed at ‘club’ event organisers, participants will gain an insight into best practice planning, marketing, community engagement, and how to get the most from the new Event Operation Manual from two of Australia’s best practitioners.

David Williams is a current National Technical Official and responsible for the sanctioning of all triathlon events in NSW. David joined the Technical Official program in 2005, remains an active official and often acts in a senior role at major Australian events. David aims to assist event organisers in providing safe events, and with a background as an engineer, specialising in risk management he is well qualified in this area.
David Hansen has been involved in triathlon since its beginning. Staging the Hansen Super Sprint Triathlon at Portarlington in 1987, David went on to spend over 25 years delivering the Gatorade Triathlon Series, the Corporate Triathlon Series, no less than six International Triathlon World Cups leading up the 2000 Olympics and the inaugural 2000 Sydney Olympic Triathlon. He is one of a handful of triathlon event pioneers and his knowledge and experience recognised worldwide.
