Promoting a Healthy Australia has launched the Be the Influence: Tackling Binge Drinking initiative website - part of the Australian Government’s National Binge Drinking Strategy.

Be the Influence: Tackling Binge Drinking provides information for young adults and parents of teenagers about the harms of binge drinking and gives practical supportive advice on alcohol related issues.
The Be the Influence: Tackling Binge Drinking initiative is a sponsor of 13 National Sporting Organisations including Triathlon Australia - enabling those sports to be alcohol promotion free, and reducing the exposure of alcohol marketing to young people involved in sport.
Be the Influence: Tackling Binge Drinking website will be regularly updated with new information, events and video messages from our sporting ambassadors and will provide links to future social and new media applications that support this initiative and the National Binge Drinking Strategy.
