Jackie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon
It's going to be a wonderful weekend remembering Jackie Fairweather this weekend, marking the one year anniversary since her passing.
Jackie's legacy in our sport will never be forgotten, and to celebrate this Triathlon ACT are hosting the inaugural Jackie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon weekend in Canberra from 7-8 November.
Her love of sport will be showcased with an inclusive weekend for all, incorporating a:
- Sprint distance triathlon
- Retro fun run
- Kids tri, and plenty of entertainment
All funds raised throughout the weekend will go to the Jackie Fairweather Research Fund - supporting education and awareness of athlete depression and mental illness. Come and join us to celebrate a remarkable life. We remember you Jackie.

The Adelaide Triathlon club host the first of the Long distance qualifying race for the 2016 ITU Long Distance World Championships in Oklahoma, USA.
$10,000 in prize money
Murray Man returns to magnificent Lake Bonney and the town of Barmera in the heart of the Riverland for 2015.
The Murray Man is developing into a triathlon festival, with a half Murray Man and now also encompassing a short course triathlon on Saturday for the young or new to triathlon (200m swim/8km bike/2km run). This event is sponsored by Nippy’s, a Riverland institution.
Ironman 70.3 Mandurah
mANDURAH, WA
Debuting in October 2012, SunSmart IRONMAN 70.3 Mandurah arrives as the Australian Professional Championship, giving enhanced prize money and qualifying opportunities for some of the best professional triathletes in Australia and from around the world.
With a swim course incorporating the sheltered harbor of Mandurah, competitors look set for fast times from start to finish on the two lap bike course heading north in parallel with the Indian Ocean, and a run course showcasing the best Mandurah has to offer, finishing on the foreshore of the beautiful Mandjar Bay.

Challenge Forster
FORSTER, NSW
Competitors are now making their way to the traditional homeland of Australian triathlon in Forster, the coastal town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales to compete at the Challenge Forster Triathlon Festival returns this Sunday.
A strong field of Elite competitors will be on the start line, including Lisa Marangon, Jessica Mitchell, Marie Sorrell, Courtney Gilfillan Gina Crawford for the women and Matthew Pellow, Lindsey Wall, Nicholas Hull, Todd Skipworth and David Mainwaring for the men.
With distances starting at Enticer level – a 200m swim, 8km ride and 2km run/walk – and through to the Challenge Half, triathlon is definitely achievable for anyone of any age and ability.
