MULTISPORT MAGAZINE TAKES THE EAST COAST

MULTISPORT MAGAZINE TAKES THE EAST COAST

After more than three years carving a niche in the Queensland market, Multisport Magazine is launching its New South Wales edition this month.

Renowned as the uniquely local voice of multisport and triathlon, Multisport Magazine branches into the southern markets with a Victorian edition following hot on its heels in May.

Editor in Chief Natalie Kuhnemann said the expansion was a strategic move for the magazine, driven by demand from readers and advertisers alike. “We have a fiercely loyal and engaged supporter community,” she said. “And with distribution through national events such as parkrun and capstone events in key interstate locations, demand has been strong for a southern edition of the magazine. Competitors are introduced to Multisport through our magazine insertion in race bags, or our active social media community, and they consistently request a localised version for their own market.”

Phil Dally, CEO of Triathlon NSW, said of its official magazine partner: “I applaud the initiative of the team at Multisport Magazine in providing a showcase of the best of what triathlon and multisport has to offer.”

Multisport NSW officially launches at the Triathlon NSW Club Championships next month, with distribution confirmed through parkrun, aquatic centres, Triathlon NSW and local events. Natalie Kuhnemann said the initial print run of 10,000 is anticipated to expand further in future, following strong advertiser support.

With local contributors including Keiran Barry (Triathlon) – National Talent Coach at the 2000 Olympics and 2002 Commonwealth Games; Taryn Richardson (Nutrition) – Accredited Practising Dietician with the AIS National Performance Centre Triathletes; and Ben St Lawrence (Run) – Australian Record Holder and London Olympian (10K), Multisport NSW is set to shine a spotlight on the multisport and tri markets, with local content, stories and supporters.
