Project Clothing and Triathlon Australia announce end of partnership

Project Clothing and Triathlon Australia have today announced an end to the apparel partnership after almost three years of working together.

Due to the nature of COVID-19 and restrictions on travel, it was mutually decided it was best to dissolve the agreement.

Miles Stewart, Triathlon Australia CEO said:

“We’ve enjoyed working closely with Project Clothing over the partnership as the official uniform, compression and apparel partner of Triathlon Australia.

“Project Clothing have been a great supporter, however it’s been a challenging environment to bring the partnership to its full potential throughout COVID-19.

“We were looking forward to outfitting our Australian Age Group Teams in 2020 and 2021 however due to the global pandemic and the Australian Government international border closures these teams unfortunately were unable to travel to the World Triathlon Age Group World Championships.

“We thank Project Clothing for working through the past seasons with us as a supporter of triathlon.

Managing Director Graeme Clarke said:
“Project has also enjoyed the past 3 years as the official apparel partner to TA and working closely with High Performance to develop the new Quantum tri suit. It is unfortunate due to Covid that the agreement wasn’t able to be maximised but we look forward to having the opportunity to work with TA again should the opportunity arise.”

Project Clothing is a global sporting apparel company, the Melbourne-based manufacturer has spent the last decade developing world class products for some of Australia’s best athletes in triathlon, cycling, running and AFL umpires.

Project Clothing have provided outfitting, including the latest in its performance racing wear for Australia’s elite racing team, paratriathletes, under 23s, juniors and all age group representatives at World Triathlon Series, Paratriathlon Series and ITU World Championship grand finals since 2019.
