Today we are celebrating the launch of our qualification calendar for the 2024 World Triathlon Age Group Multisport World Championships which are heading down under to Townsville, Queensland in 2024! 

Thousands of athletes from around the world are expected to take part in the 10-day festival that allows for athletes to compete in various multisport races. Participants can even vie for the Multisport Legend, a title reserved for those who compete in four events.

There really is something for everyone at Townsville 2024 with seven disciplines on offer, and age categories spanning 16 to 100. Triathlon Australia members vying for a spot on the 2024 Australian Age Group Multiport Team will have the chance to qualify in Sprint Distance Duathlon, Standard Distance Duathlon, Cross Triathlon, Cross Duathlon, Aquathlon, Aquabike, Long Distance Triathlon.

World Championship Qualifying Races are set to take place across the country in a bid to provide all members accessible racing opportunities. Triathlon Australia members with a Standard or Premium membership can earn qualification points towards earning a spot on Team Australia to race at World Championships.
