Coach Development Program
The Triathlon NT Coach Development Program is a Northern Territory Sports Academy Program, providing access to world-class facilities and services.
Commencing in 2013, the program encompasses delivery of holistic, long-term athlete development, education and tuition to athletes 12-19 years of age, their parents, coaches, officials and committee
Coaches in the Development Program are mentored by Triathlon NT Athlete Development Manager Tim Ellison, with opportunities to attend live-in camps (with juniors) in the April, June and September/October school holiday periods.
These Development camps provide coaches with invaluable training and assessment in real-life coaching environments, educational seminars and access to national and international level specialists. Ongoing mentoring, support and professional development opportunities are provided to coaches in their daily training environments.
