DARWIN TRIATHLON CLUB

Darwin Tri Club Logo    We are a friendly group of triathletes based in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.  Our club welcomes members of all ages. We currently have 300+ members whose ages range from 5 to 70. The abilities of our members varies from beginners yet to do their first triathlon through to multiple Ironman World Championship competitors. We have a strong culture of mentoring and supporting new members and we enjoy seeing our members progress with their triathlon goals.  We also have team options available at club events - indeed many of our members are introduced to the sport via team participation.

Events are conducted year round at various locations and include triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, mountain bike triathlons and the occasional novelty events. Our full calendar of events are volunteer run on a roster system.  Our members volunteer for the positions necessary to conduct our club events and we maintain a volunteer roster. We also have an expectation on race day that all members assist with set up and pack up.

Through the volunteer junior committee, the club runs an active junior program.

The club also has a number of triathlon coaches who conduct regular training sessions. Non-members are welcome to attend these sessions & they are an ideal way to be introduced to the sport of triathlon and meet other club members.

TRI MOB - BRINGING DEADLINESS TO TRIATHLON

Tri Mob Logo

Yaama, Kaya,

TriMob is an Australian First Nations Triathlon Club established in 2020 aimed at increasing the participation of First Nations people in the sport of triathlon and endurance sports. The word mob represents community, family and people for First Nation Australians.

Our club celebrates Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and peoples. Our cultures have been living, thriving and surviving in Australia for over 60,000 years, showing the resilience of our mob.

TriMob promotes and represents both Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and cultures. The TriMob logo incorporates both these cultures and is a symbol of strength, resilience and unity.

To all the mob out there that want to try a new challenge, that will push you to places you never knew you could go, then triathlon is that challenge and TriMob is your club. TriMob is open to everybody, we want all Australians to celebrate our peoples cultures and we believe for lovers of triathlon this a great club to be a part of celebrating First Nations cultures.

We look forward to swimming, biking and running with you into the future.
