Shellie Casalegno - State Services Manager TAS Shellie Casalegno was appointed in May 2021 to lead the development of triathlon in Tasmania. Shellie has extensive experience in the sport and recreation industry, and proven skills at both strategic and operational levels after working in leadership roles as General Manager of AusCycling Tasmania (previously Cycling Tasmania) and Sports Medicine Australia. Shellie has a great passion for sport and the amazing, unique way that sport makes a positive impact in society. Shellie has competed in road cycling races, including the Masters Games and the 2015 Devonport Teams Triathlon. Shellie lives in Shearwater and enjoys spending time with her family, bush walking and riding her road and mountain bikes with the local cycling bunch. |

Errol Kilov (Elected Director) Errol is a dentist with over 40 years’ experience and has held several Australian Dental Association (ADA) positions, including ADA Tasmanian Branch Councillor, Branch President and was elected to the ADA Federal Council in January 2021. |

Gabe is a senior project manager with the national science agency CSIRO helping to deliver a range of outcomes in IT, Machine Learning and Ai. Gabe also donates his time to the community serving on the Surf Life Saving Tasmania board and also in the health space serving on the Tasmanian Primary Health Network Consumer Council. Gabe first started doing triathlon/duathlon back in 1988 as a junior competing at the Devonport triathlon and various races over the years around the state. In more recent times he has focused on the longer distance events having done Coles Bay half multiple times and completing Cairns Ironman a couple of times. He is looking forward to being part of the first Tasmanian Ironman in 2023 and seeing how it helps lift the profile of the sport. With a strong commercial, IT and marketing background Gabe is passionate about healthy communities and the benefits that sports like triathlon bring to Tasmania. |

Jane Sargison - Appointed Treasurer Jane runs JSA Consulting Engineers, a company that she and husband Matt Horsham founded in 2009. She is also a non-executive director of UTAS Holdings and advisory board member for Stornoway. Jane followed her daughter Rachel into triathlon, only managing to stay on the sidelines for one event before joining in. Now the whole family participates and competition is rife. This year (2021) has seen Jane venture into the Ironman 70.3 format, and hopefully Noosa Triathlon. Jane is keen to assist Triathlon Tasmania to continue to support local clubs deliver great opportunities for family participation, fitness and healthy competition. |

Casey Mainsbridge - Appointed Director Casey Mainsbridge graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Human Movement in 1999. He has been a registered fitness professional for twenty-four years working in the health and fitness industry as a gym manager, personal trainer, fitness instructor, and industry health presenter. He has experience as a primary school health and physical education teacher, and has also worked with Adult Education as a health professional for the over 50's population. Casey has worked at the University of Tasmania in the School of Education since 2003, throughout which time he has taught into and coordinated several units within the Health and Physical Education degree program. |

For the vast majority of us, sport is overwhelmingly positive and runs without problems or concerns. Occasionally though, things can go wrong. When they do, people need an avenue to raise their concern and make a complaint. This is when the Member Protection Information Officers (MPIOs) play an important role in sport. They are the person responsible for providing information and options to an individual making a complaint or raising a concern, as well as support during the process. Importantly, they are not a person who investigates matters, advises, or advocates for the complainant. In Tasmania, you can contact any of the following MPIOs for this advice:
