Triathlon Australia announce 2020/2021 Australian National Series

Triathlon Australia is today delighted to announce the 2020/2021 Australian National Series, featuring World Qualifier Events, Australian Championships and National Races across the country.

With racing slowly making its return across the country following a shortened 2019/2020 National Calendar, the 2020/2021 Australian Triathlon Series will see Australian Championships, World Qualifying Events and National Races scheduled to go ahead across all seven States and Territories in a bid to ensure accessible racing for all members during these uncertain times.

Five National Championship events have been confirmed for the Series so far. Queensland will see the Standard Distance Triathlon Australian Championship return to Mooloolaba at the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival, with the Sprint Triathlon Australian Championship heading south to Victoria and the 2XU Triathlon Series in late February. New South Wales will host the remaining confirmed Championships, with the Cross Triathlon, Aquabike and Long Distance Triathlon Australian Championships all set to play out over a jam-packed eight days. The Aquathlon and Duathlon Australian Championships remain yet to be confirmed.

The Northern Territory will kick off the World Qualifier Events towards the 2021 Australian Age Group Multisport World Championships Team with the Hidden Valley Duathlon in late September.

Not missing out on the fun, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory will also all host a number of World Qualifying Events.
