Triathlon Australia has appointed executive search and consulting firm, SRI, to lead the search for the organisation’s next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Triathlon Australia’s CEO will be responsible for the delivery of Triathlon’s Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and will work closely with the Board and key stakeholders to guide the growth for a successful, sustainable future of triathlon and multisport in Australia.

The CEO role emerges at a critical time for the sport, with the imminent launch of triathlon’s Future Operating Model (FOM) involving the workforce alignment of five State and Territory Triathlon Associations (STTAs) together with TA.

Triathlon Australia Chair, Michelle Cooper has confidence in SRI’s proven track record to support NSO’s in executive searches.

“Our next Chief Executive will join the organisation at a crucial time for our sport and Future Operating Model, which will require an inspirational and change-agile leader,” said Cooper.

“The Board have enlisted SRI to oversee this important process, based on their strong track record of supporting NSO’s with executive appointments, through undertaking extensive searches and best in class candidate identification and evaluations.”

SRI will be contacting and vetting candidates in the coming weeks with short-listed candidates participating in a robust interview process with a panel appointed by the TA Board.

The search for Triathlon Australia’s next CEO will commence right away, with SRI advertising for the role today opportunities.sriexecutive.com and applications closing on Monday, 4 April 2022. A further announcement will be shared once an appointment has been made.
